Think the lights are fine. Maybe add same above the house number.

If you love the lights then keep them but if you’re unsure then one option would be to move them to your back garden to enjoy the lighting effects they create and replace them with the steel up and down lights with a dusk to dawn sensor.
If you were looking to change your house sign then House Signs Direct do some contemporary acrylic ones that are very smart and reasonably priced. And you could then position the sign under the light to the right of your front door.
May I suggest turning your large planter box through 90 degrees and positioning it exactly between your window and porch? And finally, keeping the hedge neatly trimmed will smarten things up.

I just had another look at the front of your house, which is lovely by the way, and I would add another light on the left above the house sign to give you better light to the front door.

Thanks Betty, great idea to move them round the back if we do agree to change these out. Hedge deffo needs a trim, getting to that time of year! I’ll check out house signs direct - admittedly I prefer the house sign to the lights, and will need a new front door so would like to blend the racing green into the door colour also.

Thank Sonia :) we could add another light, the current ones shine sideways so wouldn’t light the sign below it sadly. A solar light may be an idea to illuminate this but with the numbers and letter sticking out it may cast shadows and not illuminate it ( we trialled this with an iPhone torch) and it seemed to cause a lot of shadows on the letters and numbers.
