I would go for a paint in a dark and moody colour.

You could use the grey in the print and make the art the star of the show.

Another Houzzer has had a similar dilemma of what wallpaper would go with a piece of art they bought. I really feel if you want your art to shine then go for something plain and simple on the walls. So pick a shade with I the artwork and paint the walls in that.

Running with the japanese theme

I've changed my mind over the advice I gave you previously. That wallpaper is stunning. F&B also do some beatiful simple japanese style ones. You could pick a black or dark grey.
