We have a new 'traditional' (!) red brick/black doors house. We are not that style at all. Need to get the black GRP front door and black steel garage door a nice paler matt. So how can we do this? AND, any colour advice too - wondering about - greys, sage greens, similar blues, - we are coastal style.

I think the traditional look of the Winchester door is fantastic, the light/duck egg blue (pictured) is a lovely colour for an entrance.

We've jusrt had anthracite windows fitted along with a composite back door, and went white inside. Our fitter told us that most people who insist on the same colour inside then regret it as it darkens the room. If you are wanting to add light to your hallway then I think you should go for white internally,

@debzip the opaque glass lets a lot of light in , and definitely more privacy. It does a great job, my hallway gets all the sun first thing in the morning and very bright. @Mary Hannon We have to change the garage door unfortunately as it’s a motorised one and because we’re converting part of the garage into a utility we need to get rid of the door unfortunately to gain that space where motor sits ☹️ The door is great condition but no choice I’m afraid
