Hi, so we went for a 1600x800 tray with a glass panel 900 wide. That leaves an opening 700 and it looks great. I think a smaller opening, even with the bath positioned as it is, would feel too small. However we do get lots of splash on the floor. It's ok but a less soggy mat would be better. I'm good at being awear of this. My wife however thinks we have a wet room. I think a 1100 screen would pretty much stop all splash (but would need a longer tray as the 700 opening would look a bit small) and also a wider tray would obviously help slightly as the shower rose would be a fraction further from the opening. I'll add a photo, but excuse the mess! I still need to install the tiled bath and shower base panels

​I have a 1400 x 800 shower, was going for walk in but bathroom fitter advised against it. We have a sliding door, easy clean, expensive one. I am glad i didn't go for the walk in because honestly 1400 is too small. Why not go for 1600 with a walk in, or 1400 with sliding door. By the way the small gap can he easily sorted by your tilers. They'll make recommendations when they come n to quote. Such a common problem for them to solve. I'll try to attach a pic of my showerso hopefully you'll see that 1400 ight be too small for a walk in.

How wide is the entry clearance? Maybe you could buy a longer fixed panel if access allows? I would have expected the overhead shower to be mounted on the same wall as the toilet? Do you know why its on that wall? I think that's what's causing the problem.

Hello, thanks for your replies. We don't have a deflector and was wondering if that would be the solution? However, the shower room is in the attic and the deflector may not be able to fit onto the glass screen without re -doing the screen that's there atm.... The actual shower is on the wall opposite the screen, and more water seems to run off that wall (which has wavy tiles), onto the grouting and off onto the floor. We're really happy with the overall result of the shower room...just need a solution to this niggly problem! Would be grateful for any other suggestions. Thanks
