pink or white

On the last stretch of a bathroom renovation and I need to decide what should be painted white and what should be painted pink ( see photo)
The bathroom door will also be pink when finished.
Or should I paint all the woodwork, including skirts and architraves, pink and not have any white paint???
Help!!

Comments (2)On the floorboard topic. We did in fact in one of our houses lay new 'reclaimed boards' over the top of the existing and put a membrane underneath to stop the drafts. You can also employ a carpenter to put slivers in the gaps and fill, this will work well, especially if you plan to paint the boards. I personally prefer carpets in bedrooms and floorboards downstairs just for comfort and of course heat loss especially if you plan to keep the original windows. Looking forwards:- When you come to re-sell, a sympathetic set of double glazed windows will in my opinion leave the value the same if not more than original single glazed, after all it's not a listed building. Energy reports are important and single glazed etc just won't perform well in those circumstances. Bed:- I'd go for a cast iron, victorian if we're going period sympathetic, they have the added advantage of creating the illusion of space in smaller rooms as you can obviously see under them and they don't block floor space....See Morerose gold/copper accessories

I think you're sensible choosing white for furniture etc and accessorizing, it will mean it's a lot easier to change if she wants to in a few years. I'd do the following in her room: Buy some bedding with pale pink & other soft colours - something like these (from Debenhams) http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_306002145006 http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_306002144963_-1 I'd then get some cushions that tone with the bedding, I believe Primark does some that would work nicely. I think replacing the handles is a really good idea - maybe something like these? The Etsy shop that sells these does some really cool designs: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/whitewashedshop?ref=l2-shopheader-name As far as window coverings go, I personally would just get white slatted blinds, but if you want something with a bit more wow, some pale pink velvet-effect curtains would look lovely in the room. You could also accessorize with some art in a more graphic black & white style to break up the pink. Something similar to these, from Cult Furniture might work - tip is to use three so it makes enough of a statement and seems balanced. Comments (12)Personally I think its a great space to go really bold with a gorgeous wallpaper, as you don't need to see them all the time. It makes a really small space still have some personality. I’ve added more photos for context.
I have painted the skirts and arcs white (need another coat). There is some large artwork going up which will tie the colours together. It’s too easy to overthink things.
