Aide plan maison container
Bonjour les houzzers,
Le prof de techno de mon fils qui est en 4ème a eu le projet ambitieux de leur faire aménager un container. Avec ses troubles dys autant dire qu'après plusieurs essais c'est moi qui m'y suis collée.
En lui rendant le travail le prof lui a demandé si sa mère travaillait dans le bâtiment, ce qui n'est pas le cas donc le prof lui a répondu que c'est pour cela qu'il y avait des erreurs mais sans lui dire lesquelles. J'aimerais donc avoir vos avis car j'ai beau le tourner dans tous les sens je ne vois pas où elles sont :(
Je joins le plan papier et le plan réalisé sur Sweet home 3D logiciel imposé par le prof.
Sur le plan papier le container doit faire 12m x 2.4m alors que sur le logiciel le prof l'a paramétré à 12.25m x 2.5m d'où quelques modifications ( suppression du sèche linge et diminution du meuble entre le frigo et la gazinière).
Pour corser les choses il a imposé des contraintes = chambre min 7.5m2, SDB min 4m2, WC min 2m2 / chaque pièce doit avoir son entrée indépendante ( ne pas rentrer dans la SDB par la chambre, WC indépendant de la SDB ...) / on doit pouvoir manger à 4 / chaque pièce doit avoir une ouverture vers l'extérieur / les ouvertures doivent se situer uniquement sur 2 faces / chauffage dans toutes les pièces sauf WC / 1 détecteur de fumée.

Comments (9)Yep but that's different issues completely with sounds, but it does comply with building regulations. Is it something you would want regarding sounds/ privacy, think it's a personal thing. If you where adding a new bathroom that wasn't there prior, then you would have to put in an extract external air fan that will change the air 4 times within the hour and comply with building regs, have to put plumbing in for a shower should you need it in the future, have activity space allowing it to be used by disabled people safely, but that's not the case here since the bathroom is existing....See MorePANTRY ADVICE PLEASE!!!
Comments (10)Thanks ever so much, both. Jonathan, you are absolutely right to point out the safety concern regarding the microwave's current position. Once I have replaced the microwave, I will definitely rehome it to a less dangerous place! Thanks also for the sharing the caveat about the pantry shelving potentially looking improvised. What about if I put something like a Welsh dresser type wall unit on that wall to the right of the window instead? I think the gangway is wide enough - it's nearly 1.2m in width (although the photos don't really convey that). Bookworm, it had not occurred to me to remove the cupboard doors of the under-counter unit - I absolutely love this idea! That way, there would be good access to the content of the unit even if there was a step ladder up against the coal store. And just like you suggest in your post, I would really like to keep the work surface as clear as possible, too (apart from (I think) the upright mixer or, as you say, a fruit bowl), so I do need to work out where the utensils ought really to live. I'm therefore going to have a look now to see what's out there by way of super-narrow hostess trolleys...! I've also just had a really long, hard stare at the space again (my husband thinks I have lost my mind). I can totally understand why someone might want to block up the storage above the coal store and then divide the pantry from the kitchen with a door - doing that would definitely achieve the clear kitchen/pantry distinction that I'm striving for. However, I think the main reasons for my instinct being not to do that are (a) a concern that an unwanted side-effect might be a perceived decrease in the size and airiness of the kitchen generally and (b) a desire to maximise the flow of natural light into what is actually a fairly dark room. And what about decor - would you decorate the pantry space in the same scheme as the kitchen, or do you think doing something a bit different might help distinguish it from the kitchen?...See MorePlease help - utility/toilet/office layout?!!!

I'll reply one by one...: dundrum16 - thank you, yes that is one concern - do you know how much space ideally should be left either side of the toilet (and is access always needed from both sides?)? lkirk44 - great thank you for your view. If we did have a separate toilet and utility we would not use the utility as an office space (which is one of the drawbacks of this option). If we can make it work with a separate office in this location then we will go with that option! Midcenturylass - cheers for your comment although I wonder if you have misunderstood the drawings? The toilet (in either scenario) will be completely separate from the kitchen/living area - there will be a door to get into the toilet room, and another door to get from the hallway into the kitchen. OnePlan - Thanks for your various comments. Yes you are correct we are putting a walkway through the kitchen but unfortunately unless we completely re-jig the ground floor layout, the only way to avoid this would be to massively eat into the kitchen/dining area with an extended hallway. One good thing is that we have side access outside to get into the garden and back into the dining/living area so when we have quite a few guests that will be the entrance and not through the kitchen. Incidentally, we do also have a large front room which will be the formal sitting room. There will be a sink on the island to serve the hob which does contain that element although I accept the oven is still interrupted by the walkway through to the living area. Yongpei You - Thank you. We would be open to you helping us and us helping you but I suspect it may be difficult as we have just started demolitiion and foundations for the extension are about to be dug, so in terms of the layouts in my query, we need to decide those in the next two weeks or so - would that work for you? temple274 - Thanks for both your comments. I was going to ask if I could have some of what you were having but your second comment clarified matters!!! The space/dimensions available are all on the drawing so any feedback you have on that basis would be appreciated as we need to decide this soon (the office idea only came about a few nights ago - we were set to go with the first option of a separate utility). Thanks for the info and the fire details, I didn't even think of a stud chimney! I'm not sure it would work for ours, the room is 17 x 18 but the chimney breast is 51cm already so it's pretty deep. (Once I work out how to remove a couple of test bricks I may be pleasantly surprised and find the fire there as the hearth is still under the carpet!). what are your thoughts on it working in the room? Et ce container commence à me sortir par les yeux :) J'ai fait un 1er projet papier avec une largeur de 3.4m sauf que mon fils s'était trompé de dimension. Donc 2ème projet papier en 2.4m puis 3ème projet en 2.5m sur le logiciel que je ne connaissais pas. Et enfin un croquis de face avec la terrasse et l'aménagement paysager. Le tout en moins de 2 semaines !!!
Pour répondre à vos questions : les murs extérieurs font 7cm et les cloisons intérieures font 7.5cm. La hauteur totale est de 2.5m donc pas possible de faire un lit mezzanine.
J'ai effectivement pensé à positionner la cuisine contre le mur de la SDB mais les 2 portes fenêtres se retrouvaient à coté (je trouve plus sympa d'avoir la porte fenêtre coté salon plutôt que cuisine). Je joins la vue de face que j'ai retenue.
Le passage est un peu juste entre le canapé et la table à manger, j'ai pourtant réduit la longueur du canapé = 1.60m et celle de la table = 0.60m x 1.20m.Il y a bien une fenêtre dans la SDB = au dessus du lave linge ainsi que dans les WC = entre les WC et le lave mains et je suis d'accord avec vous sur leur superficie, surtout qu'il était tout à fait possible de les inclure à la SDB.

Voila un essai rapide. L'astuce est de limiter la circulation quand on a des micro-espaces. La grosse taille de la salle de bains et du wc n'arrangent pas le problème. Inadaptées à la petite taille de la chambre. C'est sans doute pour ça qu'il est instit' et non pas architecte. Il est tout de même étrange qu'il n'y avait pas de contrainte de plomberie, mais tant mieux, le fait d'exiger une fenêtre dans toutes les pièces et que 2 cotés avec des fenêtres, déjà assez rude.
Qui peut deviner pourquoi il a trouvé des soucis...sauf s'il manquaient des contraintes. En tout cas, ou cas ou, j'ai ouvert sur un des petit cotés et sur le long coté de l'entrée.Comme les vues sont sur la façade avec la porte, j'ai mis la table et le canapé tournés pour que tout le monde voient dehors. Le placard et l'armoire du frigo "bloquent" la vue vers la cuisine. La porte d'entrée pourrait se glisser plus vers le centre afin d'avoir la TV collé contre le placard (qui doit s'ouvrir face au frigo), mais comme tel, ça laisse une toute petite entrée. Ah, et je n'ai pas dessiné les radiateurs, mais ils sont très casables dans la chambre et la pièce de vie, et je ne cherche pas 20/20.

AD, ce n'est peut être pas la disposition des pièces qui a dérangé le prof, mais peut être une erreur dans le calcul des superficies.
J'ai reproduit votre plan sur Homebyme, et au niveau de la superficie de la pièce de vie, cela m'indique 12,8m2 alors que sur votre plan papier, vous avez indiqué 13,3m2.

Grace à Pauline D. je me suis rendue compte que c'est 12m25 x 2m50, dimensions extérieures!
Voila mon plan moins 14cm dans les 2 sens. Le "séjour" a perdu 27cm avec tous les ajustements!
Mais malgré le fait que les 2m², le 4m² et les 7.5m² sont pareils quelque soit le plan, j'ai 14.6 dispo pour le salon / cuisine. Soit un total de 28.1m².
Il faut savoir que dans la vraie vie, 7cm de tôle ne suffit pas comme enveloppe extérieur. Dans l'absolu il faudrait mettre une petite couche d'isolant + BA13 à l'intérieur afin de gommer l'aspect "containeur" et passer quelques cables...et un ITE + parement à l'extérieur.
Et bien que une cloison placostil de "7" fait réellement 7.4 cm (13mm de BA13 x 2 plus l'ossature de 48mm), on les dessine tout de même à 7cm. Je n'ai pas dessiné les cloisons intérieures à 7.5 cm. Les 0.5cm entrent dans les tolérances admissibles hors finitions.
Ah, il faut aussi se rendre compte que j'ai commencé "à la planche". L'épaisseur d'un trait de Rotring nous permettait ces tolérances. Quand nous les vieux, on s'est mis à l'ordinateur, on a appliqué nos habitudes, qu'on a aussi passé aux jeunes.
