Since the rest of your woodwork is white (and looks just right in white) I’d do the gable in white vertical tongue and groove. It’s hard to tell at this early stage exactly what colour your render is, but it looks likely that you’ve made a very good choice.

This isn’t the render colour this is the base coat. We have to choose colour to mix with the top coat.

It’s impossible to advise without knowing the orientation of your house, how much shade it gets, what the local vernacular is, and what options your render company is offering. I’d wait until your base coat is dry, and use that as a starting point for your decision - you may wish to move a little paler, and less grey more greige?

Yes I think that is a good idea. The front of the bungalow is north facing. I think it’s finding things that don’t clash with the red roof tiles.

I think a simple pale grey would look lovely, and nothing wrong with white.

i think the darker windows on mine suited the lighter paint colour. A slightly deeper cool stone maybe?

Personally I think the red roof excludes pastel colours and although I think white works I think a dark colour is a stronger choice

I like white too or a very pale grey. A darker colour would be a very bold choice but the black is just too much for me.

Hi, do you have to add cladding to the gable as you're adding another colour, material and finish? In my opinion it would be better all rendered.

I'd go with the dark green as per Jonathan's image with the white fascias and windows and clay roof tiles it will look very smart.

Add a large raised planter, or even large square/rectangular terracotta pots which will draw the clay colours together, some plants with movement like grasses and perennials and you'll have a great home with fab kerb appeal :)

We don’t have to add cladding to the gable. I love the Jonathan’s dark green but I think it would look a little out of place with the other houses in the street, as they are all lighter colours. It’s such a dilemma.

A neutral mid stone colour (not sickly warm nor too cold) would work I think.

This is a bungalow a few doors up from us. Thought it might help with visualising. Roof isn't quite as red as yours but similar. The bungalow was cream until a few months ago and looks nicer/has more presence in this green. It's also just sold within 9 days so can't be too bad ;)
