CEILING LIGHT ASSISTANCE
Comments (9)Have you tried to download Houzz app on your phone? It comes with a sketch feature where you can take a photo of your hallway and place different lights in it. It's not a top-noch design programme, but it will give you an idea of how a certain product would look in your interiors. Worth a try. You should go for something eye-catching and classy at the same time. Here are few products we think would go nicely with what you have created. Marie Therese 5 Light Dual Mount Chandelier - White Somerset Chandelier - 5 Light - Black Ashley Pendant Ceiling Light Dual Mount Drum 9 Bulb - Chrome L'amour 4 Light Chandelier in Pleated Shade - Black Hope this helps and visit our website for more ideas. Comments (15)I have the same set of drawers sitting behind me, and I also got a desk in the same range which has split into two lovely bedside chests of drawers. Mine is walnut with black trim. It looks like yours is oak. The drawer fronts would have originally been wood so it might be worth stripping them. Try sanding a patch of the side and dampening it slightly to get an idea of how it will look with the horrible old varnish stripped off and waxed. I found the old varnish came off really easily with sandpaper. My chest of drawers is finished with Fiddes Hard Wax Oil on the drawers and I painted the whole of the carcass black gloss as it needed some filling. I can highly recommend the Hard Wax Oil finish if you can find a small tin. You can paint any colour but I would recommend that you stay with more masculine colours rather than pastels as these are very masculine styled pieces. So, grey blues perhaps rather than baby blue. My own choice might be Swedish Blue from Craig & Rose, with perhaps a very pale grey for the drawers if they couldn't be brought back to the wood. You can use emulsion paints as long as you overcoat that with wax or varnish so the finish will last....See Morebedding assistance
Comments (33)For me, the thing that throws it 'off' is the two mirrors. Theyre creating a visual 'box' which feels unnatural. I think it would look more relaxed if the eye was drawn up from table to headboard, and then back down again. I think its good to have variation in heights when there is more than object on a wall (the cityscape trick!)....See MoreHelp Assisted steam or full steam oven?
Comments (1)Depends on your style of cooking. If you like the options of steaming rice, fish, veg then the full combination steam oven is better. Great for pre-cooking bbq food.. Food is fully cooked but anaemic so flash grilling gives colour but does not dry food out The steam assist puts moisture into the oven cavity increasing humidity which is great for cakes, roasts, veg etc. The type of cooking still uses hot air so food is browned off and crisps up. Having a tower/stacked combination is great especially if the large oven is a combi steam and the compact is a combi microwave - this tends to cover most styles of cooking....See More- 6 months ago
