In the bedrooms I would suggest a simple lampshade, to complement the colours already in the room. You can buy a kit to make your own, perhaps using the same material as the curtains. I favour modern light fittings that contrast, but equally sit comfortably, against the traditional ceiling rose. The choice is solely limited by budget. If funds allow, perhaps look at Foscarini and LZF offerings. Alternatively, BHS, Dwell and B&Q would be good alternative sources.

For me there are three thinks that I think could be improved. Personally I don’t mind patio doors but I think that the other two windows could be better. I might even consider making them bigger, particularly the one in the gable in the right. Secondly the render looks a little dated. Perhaps a crisper white would freshen it up. Lastly I think that there are too many barriers to the garden. I would clear out the pile of stones, move the swing to the edge of the garden and consider removing the bush on the right. Then you can consider where to put the patio/ decking and the best place may not be right outside the patio doors - you should think about which parts of the garden get the best sun/ most private/ best view. Lastly don’t forget to plan some boarders near the house.

I might try farrow and ball Cromarty for the walls, you can colour match to Johnstone’s to keep the budget down. It’s hard to know what styles you like from the photos. Are you also talking modern geometric, lines or circles etc as you don’t have any idea books setup? That particular wall Is also a little tricky with a big radiator. Another idea is colour blocking, you’d need to incorporate the radiator within the design as they’ve done with the door
