Hi all, my kitchen is in a medieval house (1500’s), low ceilings, beams etc and not a huge amount of natural light. Units are Sage Green with Navy Blue range cooker.
I really appreciate any hints on wall paint colours - currently lime plaster as it’s drying out so can’t be painted until the summer. It gets east and westerly light. Would like a cool warmth and colours not too bold.
I also would love any recommendations on a wall sconce (uplight) that doesn’t stick out as it will just whack me in the face when preparing food.
Lastly, considering putting a shelf along the wall under the sconce on the long left hand wall. Should it be one shelf or two layers? Or two single shelves next to each other with a gap to make the wall look longer?
Many thanks in advance.
