How about painting the radiator and the wall it is on blackboard paint, having a gallery including your piece of graffiti art (I like it) on the wall on which the door is on. You can have a couch there or a daybed, whatever you want. Keep all the walls white except the one with blackboard, leave your curtains as black white and grey and paint your floor glossy white. Put a modern light as your main light. By having all these items in black whites and grey it means that it can change to another room at a later date easily. Have the wall shelves as you had them in your design, go for a white desk and have an orange chair. Have an extra large rug that has some black or grey. For the bookcase I suggest some closed in cupboards for items you don't want to see and some open shelves for items that can look pretty. Ludo Gallagher great idea - I turned mine into a gallery, all the smaller and fun items that would have got a bit lost in a larger space ... photos, prints, postcards framed and not, 2 geckos climbing the walls, a mirror from Morocco and I add more or swap some out when I have something new. The colour is Salsa Red and the tall mirrored cabinet has lots of room for toilet paper, cleaning products and you just push to open/close so it's steam-lined and almost invisible. bombel1972 I loved your options! If I had seen them pre-decorating I may have been swayed. Love the zebras, the orange/monkeys, the tree ... thanks for sharing!

Hi Philip You can hang on wall whatever you like i guess. I would start with a question, is your room soundproofing sorted? After the whole room sound insulation you can then put on wall number of different styles of acoustic panels. And make that way your own art. They are made flat poster look likes or textured like recording studios. I would start with that. Then there are many companies doing large prints so you can use your own photo or picture or notes to make your own personal wallpaper. Just an quick idea anyway:) Kind regards Radek
