I can't choose a favorite. I can tell you that pink is my favorite color for flowers. Can I get away with that.

Too hard to pick just one.....I love peonies the most, but I also love hydrangeas, and tulips.

Gardenia...delicate scent, lovely shape flower head...aah.

Sweet pea, for the wonderful colours and fragrance. They say summer to me.

Hydrangea for sure, and any flower that's yellow.

Love them all as long as they aren't too fragrant. tulips are my all time fav!

For summer color, scent and tenacity in hot weather--Russian Sage

@rredpenn, if you like Rhodo/Azaleas, visit Portland, OR. They even have there a garden full of those.

printesa...one of my very favorite places in the world! Sister lives there, and when I retire for real, I plan on spending lots of time there every spring! The Portland Rose garden too! And the Japanese gardens. And the neighborhoods. I love Portland.

Hibiscus

My favorite are tulips, my state flower is bluebonnets

rredpenn, I lived there for three years; my sister and mom still live there. I visit them every Spring. Still have friends there. It is a beautiful place. Other than the gardens you mentioned, there is also The Grotto, which is really nice

Orchids and impatiens. Though I have never kePt an orchid they are so beautiful. Impatiens are so hardy, fill in like crazy and bloom all summer, they are so easy :)

I love, love, love, hydrangeas.

For colour, volume and scent I would have to say the peony.

I don't have one favorite, I have many....all of the above mentioned and then some.

Peonies

sweet peas have been my favorites since I was a child.

With a mother named Iris and a grandma Rosa it is hard to choose just one.
I pick my roses as much for fragrance as color. Reine de violette is a deep magenta with a peppery and sweet scent. I also love gardenias, jasmine, and honeysuckle for scent. I love wildflowers especially winecups, evening primroses and fields clover and blue bonnets.

I love hibiscus but recently planted guaras and I am in love especially when they sway in the wind.

Peonies are definitely my all-time favorite flower! They're just so beautiful :)

Any white flower! White peonies look like white tracing paper, white chrysanthemums look like pom poms.. either any white flower or sunflowers. Sunflowers have such a lovely shape and proportion.

Dahlias, they remind me of my father who grew lots of them.

Lilacs because they say spring is really here. But then again, the lilacs are blooming now. If something else was in front of me, looking and smelling fantastic, would I still say lilac?

Peonies and lilacs, although I've had better success growing dandelions.
