Houzz TV: Step Inside a Small, Stylish Terraced House and Garden
In this episode of Houzz TV Live, designer Yoko Kloeden gives a virtual tour of a compact Victorian terraced house she renovated for a family of four. Yoko extended the property to the side and rear to expand the kitchen and add lots of sleek oak cabinets that maximise storage.
Glazed bifold doors completely open up the kitchen to an updated garden, allowing the homeowners to push a rolling kitchen island outside to act as a serving table. On the patio, a large living wall creates a lush backdrop and conceals shabby brickwork. Elsewhere in the home, neutral colours and vintage pieces create an inviting atmosphere.

LOVE!! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed this very much. Especially the idea of having naturally occurring colour only. I shall incorporate this idea into my beach house which is built in industrial style.
Love the Rustic Elegance of this project. Although there are many different heritage elements, they work together in harmony with the natural elements of this style.
What a great starting point: the only color she wanted was from her food, all other colors had to be from natural materials. It’s so serene!
Amazing! So respectful of nature and cultures.
Fantastic, very inspirational!
I love it, but a power point in a fireplace? That puts the kybosh on ever having a fire in there, assuming the flue is functional of course... Weird.
Rolling kitchen island - inspirational. Congratulations.
