i think this is the direction i want to go )not style wise but concept wise) a nice large island with lots of storage and beside it (not attached) a smaller bistro style table to fit 6- can be 3 chairs facing 3 or 4 and 2 on window side...this is what i want to discuss with you

Way too many flat expanses of depthless cabinets and countertops. The small table at the end of the island looks like an afterthought.
I do like the way the countertop is the same material as the backsplash.
