Exterior of part of a house in the Cotwwolds showing new joinery and reconfiguration of windows and doors. All windows and doors are glazed with slim profile conservation double glazing units. The outer panes of glass are hand made and have a gently irregularity which makes the house shimmer.

Wide Welsh oak plank floor during the course of fitting and polishing. The oak was fumed to darken it. The boards were stained to even out the colour and the whole floor was treated with linseed oil and finished with 3 coats of pure bees wax and turpentine polish.

New conservation double glazed casement window brass window stay and catch and with internal shutters. The shutters have fielded panels on the outer side and are plain on the reverse.

Bifold doors to a tricky attic bedroom. The doors are made of wide planks with hand moulded detail to front and back. The fishtail strap hinges were hand made to fit.

Wide plank Norway spruce flooring. The floor has been laid with traditional square cut flooring brads and was treated with lye and white oil after it had been laid.

Cotswold stone winders to a half landing with fumed oak and painted softwood stair flight.

New entrance hall to integrated single dwelling. Restored lathe and plaster ceiling with distempered finish. Hand made paint to walls.
