The trend of viewing the bathroom as a luxury space shows no sign of slowing down. It seems homeowners are keen to warm up this functional room, with searches for ‘rustic bathroom’ increasing by 444%.
Homeowners are also searching for ‘shower enclosure’, ‘luxury bathroom’, ‘shower niche’, ‘spa bathroom’ and ‘bathroom lighting’.

Searches for ‘orange’ were up 259%, ‘mustard yellow sofa’ saw an increase of 139%, and ‘dark wood flooring’ was up by 132%. Some of the more extreme elements of 1970s style also popped up on the radar, with searches for ‘sunken bath’ rising by 117%.

For example, searches for ‘partition wall’ rose by 51% and ‘room divider’ by 47%. Tying in with the renewed interest in 1970s-style interiors, meanwhile, ‘internal glass window’ saw a rise of 77% and ‘internal glass door’ of 39%.
