The previous cloakroom while fit for purpose did not suit the space in terms of grandeur and was concealing some very dodgy DIY plumbing that has been completed by a previous owner. This plumbing had started to cause some issues so we needed to strip everything back and start again. We removed all the existing fixtures and redesigned the entire space. We used traditional fittings to reflect the heritage of the space and modern design to marry the past and the future. We created interest with contrasting tiles and wallpaper. The glamorous textured wallpaper and deep green tile creates a luxury look. We added smart mirror and picture light on a sensor to create interesting ambient light that will switch on and off automatically. The results are luxurious and glamorous, taking time to consider the impact of wonderful design in even the smallest of spaces.

Colm Joseph's award-winning garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, The Perennial Lifeline Garden, featured a classical rose garden reimagined through modern planting design as a more naturalistic, sustainable and lower maintenance 'rose meadow'. Within the rose meadow, freestanding metal screens, stone and topiary columns, and a pair of modern fountains combined to create a contemporary colonnade. Multi-stem trees added their sculptural form, framing views through the space. Bespoke limestone columns and contemporary laser-cut steel screens combined with topiary columns to form an abstracted colonnade. A modern steel fountain traversed the colonnade to allow visitors to walk underneath the cascading water. The fountain flowed into a rill that circulated through the rose meadow planting, while cantilevered limestone seats provided quiet spots for visitors to relax.

Die grosse zweigeteilte Hebeschiebetür ermöglicht einen schwellenlosen Übergang von innen nach aussen. Der Anbau bietet Platz für eine Wohnküche.

El reto en este proyecto consistía en redistribuir un apartamento de 45m² para conseguir una cocina más amplia conectada con la zona de estar potenciando así la sensación de amplitud y funcionalidad. La nueva distribución da lugar a un ambiente fluido, luminoso donde la isla central, con gran capacidad de almacenaje, se convierte en la pieza protagonista, cumpliendo, además, con la función de comedor y punto de encuentro para reuniones con familiares y amigos.

Esta vivienda unifamiliar es el resultado de una reforma de gran envergadura en donde el concepto es el de la monumentalidad y la contundencia de cada elemento que arma el conjunto; a través de pantallas de piedra, grandes marcos de concreto en obra limpia y amplios ventanales se busca una implantación de gran presencia dentro del terreno y a su vez aprovechar las visuales del entorno natural en donde se encuentra. Es así como se desarrolla el diseño de la vivienda como elemento protagónico y, posteriormente, el área de piscina y terraza que también es producto de reforma; a todo esto, se le suman los jardines que se esparcen por toda la parcela y conectan el terreno de principio a fin.
