The traditionally designed loft bathroom has multiple points of interest. The charming Burlington Hampton freestanding bathtub takes centre stage, paired with the Crosswater Belgravia 3-way thermostatic shower valve and the Belgravia shower kit for a complete bath and shower combination; their chrome finishes complementing the statement bathtub legs perfectly. The Vogue Arcadia towel rail is placed within reaching distance of both the basin and bathtub and offers plenty of towel hanging space with a classic British feel. A chic wooden unit holds a single basin operated by the Vado Kensington wall-mounted basin mixer with its classic and ornate levers.

Inspiration for a contemporary bathroom in London.

This contemporary and functional design in Twickenham, Middlesex is one of our favourite projects to date as it represents the ‘everyday’ bathroom. Our customer wanted to utilise their space to create a practical bathroom without compromising on style and design. Pairing the wood effect European Tiles Just Live Noce Rosso floor tiles with the grey European Tiles Flat Perla wall tiles was a masterstroke in creating an eye-catching contrast which takes into consideration the popularity of a grey bathroom theme. By using white paint to break up the wall tiling above the basin and toilet, the room is lifted and feels more spacious and bright, especially when you consider the natural light which emanates from the bathroom window. To make the most of the space, a shower/bath combination was created using the Bette Ocean Inset bath with a shower handset and shower head from Vado, and Crosswater shower valves. With practicality in mind, the AVA Trend heated towel rail was fitted at the end of the bath, so a warm towel will always be within reaching distance after an invigorating shower or long hot soak. Using our high quality products and eye for design, we have been able to create a bathroom which is a real all-rounder, ticking the boxes for functionality, stunning aesthetics, and everyday practicality.

For this beautiful modern home in Richmond, we designed both a master and loft bathroom with a similar theme flowing throughout both spaces. This project required us to be smart with the space available in the loft, to recreate the contemporary and clean look of the master bathroom but on a smaller scale. Throughout both bathrooms, the European Tiles in Metropolitan White were used for a chic yet timeless look. The centrepiece of the master bathroom is the Clearwater Sontuoso freestanding bath accompanied by the sleek AVA Trend floor mounted bath and shower mixer. Storage is always essential for toiletries which is why the Bauhaus Glide II basin vanity unit is ideal for accommodating everyday bathroom essentials. The unique oval shaped Bauhaus Avillas countertop basin is fitted on top of the marble effect countertop with the popular AVA X-EL wall-mounted basin mixer creating a minimal yet eye-catching aesthetic and functionality. The loft bathroom is fairly narrow, so a wet room style bathroom worked best. Similar to the master bathroom, we created a walk-in shower and used the Merlyn Series 8 folding shower door for practicality. Using the Hansgrohe Raindance shower head, AVA X-EL 2-way thermostatic shower valve and Vado Zoo shower handset, allowed the compact shower space to still offer an all-round invigorating shower experience. Both shower enclosures in the master and loft bathroom were created utilising an alcove feature with a single spotlight. This not only adds style, it can be useful for storing toiletries. We’re extremely pleased with the results of this project and the use of our stunning, high-end fixtures and fittings has created two functional and stylish bathrooms for a satisfied client.
