Here’s a recent bathroom project we helped design and supply for a client which we’ve fallen in love with. Three bathrooms in a beautiful family home in Battersea, London, our design consultant took little time in delivering bathroom designs which cater to the whole family. With a kid’s bathroom, master ensuite and shower room part of the project, the master ensuite clearly displays a combination of elegance, space, and practicality. The stunning Clearwater freestanding bathtub sits directly opposite the entrance to this bathroom, with a wonderful walk-in shower to it’s left with the luxurious European Tiles Classic Statuario tiles creating a standout feature wall. With wall hung features such as the StoneKAST Uni WC and Faeber basin and units adding practicality and maximising floor space in this room, the master ensuite is the standout room in this project. The kid’s bathroom has the practicality of a bath shower combination with the Bette Ocean inset bathtub incorporating a bath panel and shower fixtures, whilst the soft hue of the Apavisa Encaustic 2.0 floor tiles along with the white fixtures in this room add to the overall subtleness of this bathroom. This is an example of a large country half tiled bathroom in London with a vessel sink, white cabinets, a freestanding bath, porcelain tiles, white walls, porcelain flooring, white tiles, shaker cabinets and beige floors.

The main bathroom was recreated in an authentic Californian bungalow style featuring tessellated tiles, subway tiles in a brick pattern with capping tiles, Shaker-style framed mirrored cabinet, pedestal vanity, older-style toilet with timber toilet seat and older-style accessories. The original stained glass window was maintained. The only modern variation was the streamlined glass shower wall.

Set in south-west London this stunning 5 bedroom Victorian terrace features a Mediterranean-inspired family bathroom creating a relaxing, calming haven in which the family can completely relax and was published in the October 2015 issue of Homes & Gardens, Dream Bathrooms. When the property was purchased 5 years ago, the owners wanted to redesign the master ensuite and create more space so that all the family members could use. The owners were able to double the size of the room and created sufficient space to include a walk-in shower that features Drummond’s elegant Dalby Shower with curved pipe and a 300mm rose in Nickel finish “We chose these classic-style fittings from Drummonds because they are so glamorous. They are luxurious, beautiful made and built to last” says the owner. The striking Tay bath tub with its gleaming polished finish and a plunger waste is set against a wall paneled in antique mirror from Rupert Bevan Furniture & Interiors, all of which helps to reflect the light that streams in through the windows in the roof making the room feel even bigger. The double Crake basin with its chunky storage shelf and the beautiful Atlantic Grey marble comes in complete contrast with the beautiful Mediterranean floor tiles in sea blues and greens from Rustico Tile & Stone. We were commissioned to design a new master bathroom for a beautiful stone farmhouse near Norton St Philip. Following consultations with the client we proposed a scheme of soft greys and creams to update this great, character space. We also designed a bespoke vanity unit and a large built in wall of shelves and cupboards to address the clients need for more storage. A large Duravit Vero bathtub bestows the occupant with beautiful views across the garden whilst they relax. Small alcoves at either end provide space for decoration and placement of necessities such as candles and lotions. The natural grey 'Madagascar' porcelain wall and floor tiles from Porcelanosa have a realistic stone pattern which adds a visual element of interest to the surface finish. Darren Chung
