“I found Mia design via google and found that many of their projects were in a style consistent with my taste. I was a little nervous not having had a personal recommendation but I needn't have been. I was also a slightly concerned that my project wouldn't be significant enough to be of interest to them. Again I needn't have worried as Mia and her team (Nabil, Sue, Holly and Zahid) we keen to be involved in my project. The project consisted of a complete renovation of a two bed two bath flat in Highgate. From our very first meeting I felt welcomed and found that the team had a family feel to it which was ideal for a private residential project such as mine. Nabil was the lead designer and I very much enjoyed working with him. I kept an open mind when presented with proposals and found that nearly all were to my liking, the only issue being the cost of some. Despite my choosing the moderate solutions on most occasions Nabil remained positive and encouraging of my choices. Nabil and the team also helped me select all items of furniture, flooring, lighting, joinery and the kitchen. Nabil's design ideas and styling were fantastic and he and the rest of team were very easy to deal with and were always available to discuss concerns, timings, deliveries etc. Sue became more involved as the project started to get to critical points and her timing spreadsheets really assisted in delivering a project with the timescales I'd hoped for. Sue was also super helpful in assisting on curtains and blinds and generally taking most of my many phone calls. I was fortunate to have a builder I'd worked with before and I was delighted how well Mia's team worked with him. In hindsight the project was really so smooth even if it never quite feels that way when you're in the middle of it everyday for 5 months ! Mia and her team were really helpful and at times went above and beyond (I won't say why as everyone may ask for the same!). The result is just what I'd hoped for and needless to say I'm very pleased that I chose Mia and her team to work with. Daniel”
