She really took the time to listen to our needs, viewed our house to get a feel for our style and came up with creative ideas for our empty double garage. Her eye for colour, attention to detail and ability to blend style with practicality were excellent - for instance, she suggested a beautiful Ottoman footstool that doubles as a guest bed and has already proved useful. Communication and project management were first class, (loved the spreadsheets), and the whole process felt stress-free, with everything completed on time. We were so pleased with the result that we asked Ellie to redesign our master bedroom too. She gently steered us away from our original idea and created something much softer, warmer and more timeless, which exceeded our expectations. We approached Philippa again after she designed our kitchen a few years ago, to renovate and refurbish our period property home as we hadn’t done anything to it since we moved in 11 years ago and there were rooms we didn’t even use. They have somehow woven it all into a beautiful interior that has quite simply breathed new life into our Victorian home and has given us more than we ever hoped for. As part of their installation and styling service - they not only unpacked seven container boxes for us but even went the extra mile taking time to frame a family tree, colour co-ordinate books in the library and adding flowers for our arrival back home. “Briony listened carefully to our ideas and style concepts (including the kids) and transformed them into a lovely design with bright colours and different features for our downstairs extension. She helped us to be brave with colour and go for things that on or own we would not have had the confidence to try. Everyone comments on our beautiful exposed brick wall on one length, the matchstick tiles over the kitchen counter and our banquette seating under the window amongst other features. She helped us to choose and source the light fittings, the material for our seating and was fundamental in helping with our kitchen fitters to end up with a design that we are so thrilled with.
