We chose LCCL construction to design and build a new kitchen extension for us on our home in Barnet. The team were thoughtful, professional and easy to work with throughout. I am very happy with all aspects both the design and the build have been completed to a very high standard.

We have recently completed our project with LCCL construction and are very happy with all aspects of the architectural stages and the build itself. Our project comprised of a loft conversion and kitchen extension on our recently purchased house in Finchley. We chose LCCL as we were impressed with previous projects we saw online and we have been happy with the quality, care and skill which they have shown in all elements of our project.

We heavily relied on them to deliver the project successfully as we both work full time and have a daughter with no time for build, LCCL construction construction made sure all it is executed perfectly to our expectations and timelines, design took 3 months, the build itself construction part was completed very quickly within a month whole extension was build externally and internally took a other month and half including kitchens and windows which was very impressive. I'm very happy to have found and hired LCCL who recently completed work on my home after a painful experience with a different local architect and then another building contractor. In just over 6 months LCCL they managed to transform my damp, musky, 1900s mid-terrace house in dire need for repair into a clean and modern living space - loft conversion, full rear extension, patio, outside rendering fixes, new doors and windows and complete electrics and plumbing rehaul - plus the removal of that horrible woodchip wall and ceiling interiors everywhere. The shear scale of my home project meant I hired LCCL for their complete management and oversight as I could no longer be there all the time due to work. This included overseeing building control assessments, advising and managing boundary wall party agreements, architects, structural engineers, bathroom and kitchen designs. They used the highest quality grade materials at reasonable prices and trusted 3rd parties which they obviously have successful history with and the difference in quality is truly noticeable - my original extension before this was only 9 years old and yet was already crumbling compared to now which is completely solid. And when costs did escalate due to many unforseen circumstances, LCCL identified and discussed options and compromises early on to keep on plan, taking the time to answer all my questions for me to understand the builder terms and identifying what exactly I'm getting over WhatsApp, phone-call or in-person on-site. Not being a builder myself meant this questionning happened a lot. Great regular updates with photos throughout the entire build and excellent quality finishes, they only stop with the finish as if it was their own home. Highly recommended.

The company delivered everything we needed for the complete design and build of our house extension from Architecture to all of the build. We did a 3x10m single storey rear extension with LCCL recently. It was scheduled to take 12 weeks to complete but with Alex's experience and agile project management, we are ahead of schedule (finished in 10). Alex, and LCCL, is extremely knowledgeable and will work with you explaining what can, and cannot, be done and why. He works magic in harmonising between the different trades and chooses extremely serious and rigorous builders. With Alex, you know no corners will be cut: your house will be sturdy, warm, waterproof, and will look nice, making you (and Alex himself) feel proud of the job. without doubt, I would choose LCCL again for any future building project.

We did a 3x10m extension with LCCL recently. It was scheduled to take 12 weeks to complete but we are ahead of schedule (finished in 10). This is down to Alex’s experience and agile management of different specialists involved. You may argue you can possibly find a cheaper builder to do the work, but you can’t always guarantee the quality, the harmony between the workmen, and the seriousness of your builders. With Alex, you know no corners will be cut: your house won’t fall down in 100 years, it will be warm, it will be waterproof, and it will look nice and make you (and Alex himself) feel proud of the job. I would work with LCCL again if I ever build anything else.

Contracted LCCL Construction to design and build us the loft conversion and house extension in North London. With their efficient and productive process they have successfully completed design and obtained full planning required. Construction process was efficient and productive too with understanding delays the project has successfully completed to high standards, with quality, all looks very symmetrical, new and shiny. We came to LCCL for a full house renovation and modernisation, looking to completely redesign the layout of our outdated victorian porperty. When we came to Alex the property wasn't properly supported upstairs internally and was without heating. Now we have a three storey townhouse with a beautiful rear extension and tonnes of space. The layout is absolutely beautiful and the light just flows through from the various new skylights. From the start LCCL were there to guide the designs and advice on what we wanted and what would be most efficient and cost effective. This home has completely outdone our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results! We decided to save some of the finishing touches to our project for a later stage, and I will be coming back to LCCL to complete the work.

I was recommended LCCL by a work colleague who had previously had an extension built by the company and was very happy. LCCL designed and built our loft conversion and kitchen extension the results look fantastic and we are very happy with the much needed additional space it has made the house so much more open and light. The design stages were completed pretty quickly after our initial consultation call, I think the architect came by to measure up within about a week and we had the designs shortly after. The planning applications were handled smoothly we didn't have to get very involved in this and we were updated regularly by the company. The build started a few months after we received planning approvals the team worked quickly they were always polite, showed up and did their job. Our project manager made sure that everything was well coordinated between the deliveries of materials and the various other trades. We were kept up to date with everything that was going on and any questions we had were always answered which was reassuring. The build went well and we now have an additional master bedroom in the loft with a bathroom, walk in wardrobe and French doors. Downstairs we have gained a kitchen extension giving us 4.5m of extra living space. We are happy that we decided to contract LCCL to take on our project, it can be so hard to decide on a contractor but they have done a fantastic job.

They have provided us with a competitive quote breakdown of design phase costs and construction of the loft conversion costs and have been very responsive at quoting stages, shortly after we appointed them start on our loft conversion too. Lccl have done all the legality of the design phase including architecture, planning, building control, party wall agreements and then moved on to build us the loft conversion, within 8 weeks the whole loft conversion has been fully built in and out. We are very happy with the quality and workmanship from lccl construction. The loft conversion looks and feels amazing! My wife and I contracted LCCL to manage our loft conversion project. The technical drawings and architecture work has been superb. We were unsure of what we wanted to do with the space and they produced two very good solutions for us to consider. We even had a third option drawn up when we wanted to try and build above the existing extension (the council unfortunately refused.) Everything was produced in a timely manner, and communication with Alexander and the team has been first class. We've since agreed on a proposed plan and we're looking forward to the completed work!

While this company may seem slick and on the ball at first, please be warned that they are unfortunately very unreliable, do not stick to promised deadlines and upon wanting to leave their services, they may try to make you pay extra for the design phase that is in direct contradiction to their contract and their own words, as they did to us. We wasted months on planning our loft conversion with them, trusting what they said about the price and availability, only for them to do a 180 on their initially proposed timeline, and trying to gaslight us into believing they never said the things they said (we should have recorded our phone calls with them). Very disappointed.
