Review for Refined Trades
Johnathan made from a work that could have been outstanding an have a fabulous review just an "ok" review. He lacks of any communication skills and ability to deal with issues. He did a bespoke wardrobe for us. This is because of the following issues experienced during the works were taking place and how Jonathan faced them:
1-After exchanging more than 20 emails and clear detail drawings agreed by the two parties involved. Jonathan ignored a note saying "All external parts in rose canopy sprayed paint". Once he was on site with all the external open shelves to the right of the cupboard in oak venner finished rather than painted. He tried to challenge as that open shelves are still internal just after a long discussion we agreed to paint them by hand - which did not reach the same finished than in the rest of the external wardrobe areas. He was asked to give more layers of paint wich could have help as the sprayed parts has 6 layers and the hand parts only 3 but he refused. That was very unexpected since drawings were very clear on this point.
2- PIR LED light did not work at all when he finished the work and we refused to come back to repair them. even though we hold a small percentage of the total payment (%5). Finally he came 1 MONTH later to repaired them and it took 1 week more to have them working.
3- after all this hassle he could not wait even 24h for us to pay the remaining 5% (£150 out of £3000) and he cam to our home to threaten us to pay.
After the above I will NOT recommend Johnathan if you would like to deal with a responsive and friendly trade person. There is in the market similar local trades in Acton with similar prices and much more responsive.

I’m sorry that you feel that communication was less than satisfactory. We will address this and make sure that communication is better.
