Review for Wighton Architects

After shortlisting a couple of architects, we met with Stuart and he just understood what we were trying to achieve and his price was competitive. After agreeing upon a design brief, he made three proposals and we chose which parts of which design we liked and combined them. We had to navigate the more difficult planning route required of a grade 2 listed house, and we also live in a tree conservation area. Stuart put together a strong planning statement, showing that each part of the design had been considered from a planning and heritage stand point. We only needed some minor tweaks and planning permission was granted. Stuart was very professional throughout. He was easy to contact by phone and email. More importantly he seemed to have a genuine interest in our project. We couldn't be happier with the design and the finished product. Our house now flows so much better than before and we have a wonderful new space for the family to use for years to come.
