Just beautiful! You have such a good eye for photography!

BeaBeautiful pictures. So glad you recovered and got to enjoy the rest of the trip. 🙏c

Gorgeous pictures, @Sueb20. I am glad that you recovered quickly.

No, I haven’t died and gone to heaven.
But I did get out for a little walk before we left Lake Moraine and good thing! Look at that scenery!
We are at our next stop and I am feeling human again. I am gonna kick a$$ in Vancouver! 🤣

She was truly one of a kind. I was never a fan of country music, but always a fan of Dolly.

@bpath no it is her daily letter. i read it every night when it comes out.

Anyone interested in listening to the Grand Old Opry, can hear it Saturday night on wsmradio.com It is on from 7 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. CDT.

I shop at Ralphs which is a Kroger store here. I do use their loyalty program faithfully.
I have the app, but prefer to use their website. I check through their coupons the day before we shop, adding anything that we normally buy. They also have a cash back program for some items. We do save a lot of money on things we buy at that supermarket. I also shop at whole foods and trader joes.

I use fake phone numbers and fake birthdays. What do you care why people do it? No one owes you a reason.

I have the app for the supermarket that I usually use. And I am the type of person who likes to look at the weekly flyer for sales. I have no problem loading those digital coupons onto my account. It sure beats clipping them and remembering where I put them! But tracking does have its postives. Last week I got an email, telling me that I had purchased an item that was now subject to a recall. The specific item was not the one I had purchased, but the heads-up was appreciated. Any money saved is a plus--it's sort of a challenge or game. Then I feel I can buy things I need that are expensive without guilt

I lived in the Monterey Bay area for 35 year, and I do not want to discourage anyone from visiting. But keeping in touch with friends and the local media, I have learned that success is really hurting the area. Weekend crowds, special events, traffic that is impossible.... it's not the same place that it was many years ago, or even when we moved away 10 years ago. My friends there are feeling it in the worst way, unfortunately. So I still encourage people to visit and enjoy, but please plan carefully. There's not a bad time of year weather-wise, even in winter, Take advantage of mid-week times, off-season times and check the C of C's schedule of events. The place is magical, I I hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience it.
