Texanjana, we are on Moraine Lake. I am still sick but gee, maybe I can see more of it tomorrow? Ugh. I can’t believe I’m on day 5 of this crud. But here’s a pic DH took with his phone today.

I have a decent view from my deathbed.

No, I haven’t died and gone to heaven.

But I did get out for a little walk before we left Lake Moraine and good thing! Look at that scenery!

We are at our next stop and I am feeling human again. I am gonna kick a$$ in Vancouver! 🤣

Sorry you are still in the acute phase of this nasty illness.

Those if us who've been there understand how acutely painful it can be.

Hope you wake up soon to reduced discomfort (that's what happened with my first case....it was just gone one day).

I'm glad to hear you can go without pain meds now and things are improving. I agree with you and your friend -- a positive outlook makes such a difference. But so do vaccines and antivirals. I'm sure you are progressing well due to all three.

How can you see a person you know suffer for months and not want to avoid that? I would think that a person who has such a bad case would also be at risk for lifelong nerve pain. That and potential blindness are just not worth the risk. Even if you don't "believe" in the science, it would seem worth humoring it a bit.

I’m very glad to hear that you are continuing to improve, Annie. Here’s hoping that it is soon a distant memory.

Your best bet is to contact a local architect and specify your needs and goals, and work from there. Good luck.

Automated license plate readers have cut down on car breakins and reduced time to recovery of stolen vehicles and time to capture of criminals throughout my state. As long as the law restricting the use and sharing of the data outside of state and local level authorities is in place and authorized access and security measures are maintained, I have no issues with it. They also need to be restricted to public byways and not somewhere where someone has a reasonable expectation of privacy, as already outlined in long held court cases and laws.

“I wonder do some people take the lazy way out and mash them with skins on?” Or some people like to make potatoes as healthy as possbile so leave the skins on.
