I had a room like this with an angled roof and I put in two over the bed . I loved them . The room felt huge and peaceful in the day with the extra light . I think two rectangular skylights looks better than one . Make a pattern out of paper in the sizes you are considering and tape them where they will go to get an idea.

If you want to go lighter, but still warm, you can try BM White Dove.

I also have colorful art, warm fabrics and oak floors and the BM White Dove worked well with those and kept the space light/bright.

I had first painted the house in BM Winds Breath, but quickly decided it was too dark and too yellow/gold and repainted with the BM White Dove. I had used the Winds Breath because it looked great in my parents house and didn't look yellow/gold there. Make sure to test any color in your space!
