Can you swap the shower and the other bathroom and move the door closer to the tub? That would give you a place to hang towels closer to the shower and prevent someone from walking straight into the side of the vanity.

Because our layouts are similar although yours is a bit larger, I’m attaching our plan just so you can see options. Because you have more space the tub could go where we have the bench. Note that ours walks though to the master closet and we did not end up doing the pocket doors as shown.

I do not know all the facts, but I see issues with the entire plan. Do a review of the design and list the concerns you have of things you do not like/want and things you feel could be done better. Get a similar list from all the others that will occupy the home. Give the list to your designer and have them redesign your home. With some design/build firms you do not know if the designer is working for the owner or the builder.

I would guess the designer of this design is not an architect. Even if the person has 30 years experience, they may not have had the education or guidance to make those years quality years.

A Samsung Frame TV with a DecoTV frame would add some detail to the plain look of a standard TV, specially when you have the black hole effect.

Maybe swap the dining room and living room?

Love the ideas suggested so far. Here is one other thing to consider. Have you thought about flipping the dining room and living room? I love to have a table by a fireplace and depending on the walls we can't see in dining room, your sofa and chair might work better in there.
