D1’s surgery went well, she’s feeling ok. But Groot was running outside with the dog after dinner and he slipped and fell, hit his head on the deck step. SIL and I are now at the ER awaiting stitches. D1’s friend came over to sit with her

It’s a pediatric ER and they brought us right back. They gave him an iPad and he’s watching his favorite show while we wait for the numbing gel to take effect

Sam, I concur. I started late one year and it was never quite the same. Not sure why. I’ve been somewhat distracted recently with the cats and also involved in several projects related to my own work and crafts so probably would not have been a thing this year regardless.
