What material did you use for the countertop on this wet bar? - What material did you use for the counter top on this wet bar? It looks like wood, if so, how did you finish it to be waterproof?

Did you paint the brick fireplace or was it painted already? - I have a brick fireplace in our family room and am considering painting it, but afraid to -- that's not something that can be undone.
