Overall I think the smaller 3-cushions keep their shape better than a larger 2-cushion.

You see this more in lower budget sofas, but with only one person as the main user, it shouldn't be as bad.

The painting and sconces are a big improvement; the overly styled cabinets are a big miss. They’re too impersonal and overly “decorated.” Look back at what you had/have and group like with like for more impact. Edit, edit again, and ONLY if necessary, look for an interesting vintage piece or two to layer in texture, color, and interest.

What happened to your room?? Is the black chandelier room AI ?

I have only skimmed the comments and have no idea what has happened here 🤷🏻‍♀️and I really don’t want to know.

All I can say is, yes, art could be an option for that wall. Although, my choice would be a mirror to add light and expansion and to reflect the gorgeous chandelier (if you still have it).

I would hang the mirror high enough, so that the two people seated opposite the mirror wall would not see themselves while eating.

Have you thought about a wallpaper with a metallic finish? My parents had a muted gold tea leaf (I think) paper on their DR ceiling, and I loved the way it glowed at night.

Something like this?

Thank you! I was thinking blue and green or blue and white flowers but can't find any that are multi-directional. I will take a look at the metallic finish. Sounds cool! Thank you again!

I would do a bump out all the way to the ceiling, just deep enough so the firebox is flush.

Keep it simple. same color as the walls so it doesn't contrast and look crowded.

a simple rough wood beam similar to the ceiling color for the mantel.

No raised hearth just an inlaid slab in the floor to make it feel real.

I'd choose the 48" rather than the 60" so you can put something in that inside corner.

This is what I’d do and you can always test a rug‘s feasibility.

Pretty kitchen! - lighter counter stools with some texture would add interest

Only drawers on the bottom. You'll be glad you did them. The black island is rather stark. If you went with a softer color you could consider it for the hood.

This looks llike no one lives there. Most of us have colorful appliances or bowls that hold fruit and these provide the color. I like that it's not messy..... :)
