TruScreens are very bad on West facing windows They material that they are made of creates a powerful glare when the sun hits them. When the sun isn’t shining directly on them, they have a milky look, like there’s a film on them. . North facing windows are good for those screens.
Me neither, Indigo Rose. We have TruScreen on our front/street facing/West facing windows and you can barely tell there are screens there. Full sun or not. We did "regular" screens on the back and side windows, honestly mostly because of the cost of the TruScreen but in retrospect I probably just would have done TruScreen all the way around. What the heck, when you're spending that kind of $$$ on 21 new windows just go for it! We redid all our windows in 2022 with RBA.

That's not been my experience, Laura.
