Your conference room reminds me of a score I made twenty years ago this week, actually. I worked for the only TV station in Boston licensed to air the World Cup, and we were a host city as well. Because of all of the international visitors and their multiple languages, I became enamored of the enormous highway signs that went up all over the Boston area that simply featured an 8'x8' soccer ball and an arrow. The day after the cup games ended, I called the state DPW to ask how to purchase one. Fifteen minutes later, a DPW truck was pulling into the station, gifting me one of those great, graphic signs -- it held court over our conference room, and can still be seen on the station's sports show set. "Gooooool!"

How about a magnetic map or a map pin board to let people flag the places that they have travelled to or where they are from? I think that will drive conversation and engagement. Use light neutrals to make the map and give people flags/pins/magnets that another neutral color. From afar, the wall will still look calming and beautiful!

@Mirens Inc...what a lovely idea...we can combine it with holiday photos and let people bring a bit of sunshine into the office!

Look to your incredible history! I'd say a mural of black and white photos of historic, literary, design figures/pioneers. After all, aren't these people, all, our mentors?

Silhouettes of famous British design icons in houzz green. You could then use the invisible bookshelf and add a green or white covered book and then a pot plant in white with greenery to illustrate a book on a table, by a light, on a sofa etc etc

Goodness, some lovely ideas here. I think we might have to add some more walls to the decoration list. A living wall is definitely on our wish list but probably in our next office. For now we have loads and loads of plants to keep the air fresh. @Honey Bee - I love the idea of a neon sign although we probably will have to opt for the Houzz green :) @ASVInteriors - We love our wall stickers here - we have the Houzz logo as a custom wall decal! I will look into furniture design icons as an option!

What are those white vertical strips on the wall ? Are they panels ? Best is to use removable wall murals,Once you are tired of looking at it,you can remove and replace with another one,and reuse that in another space.

What about a floor to ceiling world map, you could pin point with a picture the locations of inspirational stories from Houzz. These pictures/stories could be changes every week or every month.

Cheap wall decoration is nicely framed photographs you took yourselves. England is full of great houses. You can go Bleinheim grand, Warwick ancient, Gherkin modern. And OMG the gardens. You really have to go to a garden show in America to appreciate the order of magnitude difference that is the British garden show.

I'd be tempted to pick some color scheme, aspect of architecture/interior to unify the great range of wonderful British architecture, interiors and furnishings.

I'd a mix of modern British work like Rachel's and classic British design elements ( Lutyens bench, Chester field sofa,etc.) and paintings or photos of landmarks and gardens. While there are lots of English icons of style, supporting current British artists would be the best thing to do.

We think it should be a photo wall with a project from a professional in each country that Houzz is launched in. A competition could be held for each country ? and it would show the growth of Houzz and inspire professional to get involved.

Space out some clipboards on the wall in a grid. Clip photos, artwork, phrases, and anything else that inspires your team to each clipboard. You can change up the art as you go.

@Castlenau Tiles Ltd I actually have a future map on the wall in my apartment! @St James Design I love the idea of making it international not just UK! @Barnhart Gallery - I think they just love the style of our British photo booths - when we get a bigger space we will definitely need to get one or two although I think we might keep them red :) Everyone else..thanks, so many wonderful ideas. If its a breakroom area, perhaps you need a break from looking at houzz bizness! Perhaps something more personal and/or refreshing to/for the staff! Maybe a system for hanging things could be mounted on the wall - and artists and photographers on staff could display their work for a certain length of time (a month, two months), others could come up with their own ideas of what they'd like to share on the walls…

Houzz UK has been featured in so many great articles and it keeps growing. Perhaps a small wall of press highlights!

Love the map idea with pins marking where we have professionals and projects on Houzz across the globe so we can see how it grows! Also, how about a 'top 10 most aspirational photos' wall as voted by the Houzz community!

Naturally I would say some acrylic or canvas wall art but there are tons of great ideas in this thread - you must feel a bit overwhelmed!

Why not bring a bit of the wide open outside into the office? How could you not feel de-stressed with a tropical beach to look at all day:-)

I would say floating shelves to put all the food jars. That way you could free that console. And in between or behind the jars you could add pics of what not, just to layer it a bit!

Something fun! a bespoke UK skyline with a famous building from 40 different cities, turned into a series of puns, a bit like our 'London with a twist' artwork, but make it a compilation of UK cities pun skyline, it would be a game to see who could work out which pun each building and city it represented. Can you find the 7 hidden puns in ours?

How long has it been for this wall to be decorated ? I think too many choices will make everyone goes crazy,why not take a Group Photos of all who shares the same space,blow it up to fill the wall and call it a day. This will promote team work it also could be use as a Dart Board or target practice.when the weather is gloomy out side.

How about hanging a few plant planters? You could hang them from the ceiling, and they would look awesome! (: And if you wanted to, you could put small colorful pictures between the hanging plants! (:

You have a wonderful view...bring that in the room by hanging a huge and stunning mirror. I also love the idea of a fabulous neon sign saying Houzz. Those two in place you could then 'dress' the walls with balanced frames with all kinds of things within...eg: projects by the Houzz community.

Just wading in with my two pence worth!

My immediate thought of what you could put on your wall in your first picture of the table with the plants on it is, artwork or mural of a Japanese garden.

Everything about Japanese gardens are about equal and opposites, ying and yang if you like. The effect is calming and reaches into the soul to soothe the stresses away. Probably very necessary when you've been working hard and need a break or some downtime.

My other immediate thought to your second picture with the corner sofa is, a seaview or something showing an expanse of water or body of water. If we all had a choice to live within eyesight of the sea or body of water, how many of us would say 'Yes!'. Again, another subject of relaxation for the soul.

If any of these subjects are of any interest, I'm sure you can source the exact artwork, mural, poster, canvas whatever you decide it's gonna be for these chosen spaces, but here's a glimpse at what I have in mind when I talk of seaview.
