Terrace house hallway. Using Dulux Absolute White plus Atoll colour?
Comments (65)I have these in a couple of the bedrooms to hang bathrobes and such on. They come in black or in white (which I would do on the White door). I love them and think you could probably do two on the door at slightly different heights. Removing the handle and painting the door white, gloss or semi-gloss, whatever you prefer and use in the rest of the home on the woodwork is a good idea. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/small-storage-organisers/hooks-hangers/tjusig-hanger-black-art-80291707/...See MoreUtility plus garage
Comments (5)If the garage is prone to flooding then i'd go for a polished concrete. However there are examples of 'waterproof' flooring around, however, I cannot testify to the longevity of any of the products having not used them. They are specifically designed for use in kitchens and bathrooms. I'm sure how they'd hold up against large volumes of water. It would best to contact the manufacturers and ask them. waterproof floors Also, You would need to ensure that any machines and cabinets that you put in are safely above any possible water level. I'd personally dig a drainage channel in front of the garage to prevent the flooding in the first instance and then have your choice of flooring. Garage floors are not usually perfectly flat concrete such as would be poured indoors. Therefore, you would also need the floor screeded before putting the floor down....See MoreLoft conversion: 2nd Master Bedroom (plus quirky double) or 2 even dou
Comments (5)You could consider a concept planner for this. You would get to explore more than one option before committing. Consider OnePlan. Personally I think that you need to consider several factors: what you need from the house; who is the likely next occupants (professional house sharers and families have different requirements); how much reception space you have and if you need more; if 4 bedrooms are better than 5; what outside space you have and if a roof terrace is needed....See MoreHelp for fading a too vivid rug plus throw pillows dilemma
Comments (6)Hi Sue, thank you so much for the idea of darkening the rug with tea, it’ s made of cotton so it should work ! I do appreciate your point of view about the kilim being too big for the sofa , I just needed this ! Actually they are too big even as floor cushions ... Never mind, they have been flattened in the closet for years and they’ll go back there. Can I ask you how many pillows should i use on 5 place sectional sofa ? 2 or 3 per corners? i will have to study how to combine boho pillows ... because it’s easy to choose a couple of them but choosing nine different matching pillows it‘s a kind of rebus for me expecially because i don’t like matchy-matchy but I don’t like confusion either ....thank you again , you have been very helpful! Good night 💫!...See More- 6 years agolast modified: 6 years ago
