Help for my tiny bathroom?
Comments (21)Hi, Our bathroom was very simulator this and we hated the lack of floor space. We installed a gorgeous shower across the window wall and tiled around the window to protect it from moisture. It's been great so far. Then we moved the toilet to behind the door and put in a smaller countertop sink next to it. We also had the problem of working around the airing cupboard. Taking out the bath was controversial but it hasn't bothered us yet& it's better than walking straight into the bath when you open the door like we used to. We felt that a good quality shower would make the house more saleable in future that a pokey bathroom....See MoreNeed bathroom designer asap - 2 small bathrooms

Comments (12)Hi You need to check re soil pipe - my opinion is that it is best to keep the WC as close to the soil pipe as possible to avoid unnecessary problems. You may want to opt for a free standing bath which would add glamour to the room - you can find various sizes (see link below just for an idea) https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/1650-x-750-luxury-modern-double-ended-curved-freestanding-bath Or Back to wall 1500x750 https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/orion-1500-x-750mm-small-back-to-wall-modern-square-bath?campaign=googlebase&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqIDjyp7Z3gIVVOJ3Ch1BiQfcEAQYBCABEgLdzfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds An Offset bath may allow some more flexiblity in the room as the space is rather tight. See https://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/carron-quantum-spacesaver-offset-bath-1700mm-750mm-left-handed-5mm-acrylic-q4-02179?utm_source=google&utm_medium=Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwerA-Z_Z3gIVyeR3Ch0ZdQQSEAQYBSABEgKlufD_BwE and https://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/cleargreen-ecocurve-shower-bath-1700mm-r16?utm_source=google&utm_medium=Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_9fLuKLZ3gIVS1XTCh2H3gcNEAkYDSABEgLGa_D_BwE A Slimline vanity or floating shelf with a narrow but long basin could be an option https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/valencia-995mm-black-ash-wall-hung-basin-unit?campaign=googlebase&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwb6Fn6PZ3gIVWOJ3Ch0mGwqEEAQYAiABEgIJa_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds You have to find a compact wall hung WC to ensure that there's as much room as possible. I have done two sketches - and have specifically kept away from putting the bath under the window due to soil pipe. I have proposed that you open the door outwards or maybe consider changing to a folding door as per images below If you need any further advise my design practice can help you....See MoreHelp! Can we fit a bath AND shower in our tiny bathroom?
Comments (7)Dear Charlotte, the best option to buy shower pan and rail with a curtains , or to build one, instead of the bathtub. Here just examples , what to look for. The shower head it in the highest position now, its means if we take bath out we have more height to the floor. I have same made at home if you be interested I will add my shower pictures. Here last one is example, easy to build separation wall somewhere 3-5 cm, with a good drainage and no problem water from shower moves fast. The best wishes ....See MoreTom Parry
