Kitchens are a big expense - especially the chairs so I would match them to the units - the set you showed matches the colours of the chairs with the units really well, BUT, 1. The pine top doesn't work and 2. You need to add a bit of pzaz to this space. You can paint or cover the pine top with whatever colours / textures you choose as accents then follow these colours through into the pictures and the odd accessory (but don't go mad and keep most of the kitchen utensils and tools in the same colour as the background so they 'disappear' - only use subtle accent colours on gorgeous items so they stand out). Absolutely not !! We have a total ban on mobile phones around our dinner table when we are eating, and only when we're finished and I say that we can 'get down' do the kids then run into the sitting room and see if they've missed anything in the 20 minutes that they've not had some device stuck to their faces. Same goes for the TV as well. We do have the radio on, but in today's busy lifestyle it's the very few times that we can actually all sit down together and talk about what's been going on.

Haven't you "had a poll" featuring the pink chairs before? I guess you might need a different marketing strategy if the polls aren't working......

Hi Mel, It depends on the size of the room and how many people you want to seat. In general a round or square table seating more than 4 will take up more space in comparison to a standard rectangular table. A good way around this is looking at extendable options (round turning into an oval and square into rectangle) if you only need 4 seats but would like the option of additional as and when needed. Round tables also soften the room slightly + if you have a single leg in the middle, will offer a more flexible seating arrangement.
