What do you think of using layers of plywood for a kitchen work surface? Like it or Loath it? Vote Yes or No

Hi, A wood floor will obviously help and they are right a cork floor would be even more absorbent than a harder wood floor. Obviously the disadvantage is being softer it can damage easier and does not always look great. I have added a link to a engineered wood floor that uses cork and oak and is not expensive. Hi Emma, We have installed the Cemento spa in several of our projects. Our clients like the suede as it does not need drying/buffing up once its been cleaned. My suggestion would be to borrow the small samples from your kitchen supplier (suede and polish) and use them as testers/coaster deliberate spillages etc - this will give you a better idea of usability and aid you in making the correct decision. I love your chosen Karndean floor. It will create a lovely warmth to the room. I think a pale worktop would go really nice. I’m not sure what your budget is but Quartz is lovely and tough. It comes in many shades but perhaps off white with a little marbling in it? If budget doesn’t allow for Quartz then there are man made worktops that look like stone.
