White crown molding. And chrome/steel light fixtures. Or copper, if you'd replace the coffee table. Wood coffee table (so the door isn't so lonely). Black and white pillows and decoration. Maybe some caramel/orange accents. If hanging art and/or mirror, use white frames. White shelves. Personally I'm not too keen on the carpet (together with the sofa's texture). A wooden floor with a rug would would look better. What are your thoughts on the first picture below?

Is this your own house as I can see you're an estate agent? If it is what styles do you like? I would also be adding a console, some form of seating, mirror, lamps etc. Re sculpture it's quite hard to choose as art is so personal but I would put it on a plinth/s. I'm really not green fingered but I think kentia palms tolerate low light. Great hall btw

You've posted 4 pics that you love, only 1 has a mirror, nevermind mirrored furniture. I think the furniture means you'll never quite get that look unfortunately. You must remember its a room you have there, not just a corner which is what the pics you like are. It's easier to style just a corner. I think some soft materials, curtains, a sheepskin throw, fluffy cushions on a chair like your pics. I think you could make it work. Can the dressing table mirror be removed? You can get plastic film that could be put on the sides of the chest of drawers to hide some of the mirror?

Looks a good compromise. To lower it you could cut down the legs, if they are of a material you can cut such as wood. I bought a stool at Dunelm and it was too high, I couldn’t get my legs under the table, so I sawed the legs down so it fits now. Or you could replace the legs of the stool with longer ones. There are lots of sellers online who sell replacement furniture legs.
