I think painting kitchen cabinets is a massive time commitment not to be taken lightly because changing it is not a quick job. Before you paint you should consider if you have the technical expertise to get a flawless finish and if not you should consider if professionally finishing it is going to break the budget. Then you should consider if your style is bright and funky and look critically at the rest of your house to see if this is really your style. If this is the first time you have embraced colour then perhaps there is a less ambitious way you can bring it in by wallpapering a wall and buying a rug.
