Nature has a power that acts upon us . . . a garden is alive (at least at certain times of the year) and is continuously demonstrating the powers of creation . . . . brings us cleaner air, anchors the soil, engages our senses . . . what's not to like? (i do prefer to encourage the small creepy crawly things to stay in the garden . . . )

We build many roof terraces and dress London balconies for our clients. Depending on the size, we have had tiny spaces which are used for a cosy realaxing area to large spaces which can fit in outdoor dining areas with pergolas, waterfeatures and even Spa Jacuzzis. What ever the space you will extend the feeling of your indoors with clever lighting that you can enjoy year out during the cold winter month as a stunning back drop view.

I think having a mixture is good. Just like Vale Garden Houses said, usually hand drawn is good for concept stage to give client a feel for the space but once your concept develops, moving onto cad is a good idea to provide more accuracy which a hand sketch cannot necessarily provide depending on the complexity of the space.

My home was a feature in the April 1995 issue of House Beautiful. Many years later, 2012, the house was photographed again for selling purposes.
