Need help on blinds - in or out of the recess?
Comments (17)Thanks all for your comments. I think on balance I will go with two blinds (agree with you jjcg need the wall area between the blinds to break it up) and will hang above the window frame (hopefully the fabric folds won't stick out too much if the batten is the right depth) but keep the width to within the outside window frame. Then with the blinds up I should still just see the top of the arches. They might make the windows look a bit tall but seems there will be a compromise whatever I do.....hopefully that all makes sense to read!...See MoreShutters, blinds or curtains? Please help!
Comments (6)Hi Danni, Shutters would look fabulous with your Parisian style - they are famed for their gorgeous continental look. You ask about different styles, so I'll post a few examples for you to get a feel for them: This lilac shutter is the full-height style. That means the shutter covers the whole of the window and there is no split in the middle. It's also a custom colour choice - where you can match your shutter to practically any paint colour shade. These shutters are tier-on-tier. This means that the top and bottom slats operate independently of each other, so you can have the top ones folded back while still keeping privacy with the bottom ones closed. Finally, these shutters are café-style which means they only cover the bottom half of the window. They're perfect if you're after the privacy, but still want to make the most of the light or show off a feature such as stained glass. Hope that helps a little - please let me know if you have any more questions on shutters! Good luck, Zoe...See MoreHelp with Bathroom Blind and Shelving
Comments (20)And the blind is up! We chose a slightly different fabric and pattern from the one you suggested Carolina, but with all the same colours. Thanks so much for your help. We love it! The shelves are on order and should be here in February :) :)...See MoreHelp. Paint colour 4 surround 2 tie in with white blind? Walls white?
Comments (1)I think white blinds sit well with most colours so I wouldn’t change a thing in your lovely room....See Morewildone12
