Ignoring the comment above, which is extremely impolite, just because you're taste is not the same as someone elses! :- You have wonderful high ceilings and to keep it grand you need to paint the walls the same colour as the floor ( take a tile to the paint shop and have them colour match it ). You can also paint the skirting, doors and architrave in the same colour. This gives you a completely blank canvas to work with and adds to space and height. At the very least paint them white as they currently clash with your floor tile. You can then use accent colours by of accessories in each room like the curtains, cushions, rugs, lamps etc.

Hey, I'd paint the skirting, walls and doors the same colour. Any pale and light colour would do the job as you have an easy-to-match floor and a high ceiling. So it depends on what you like and the style you want to achieve. Good luck!
