Hi. You could add some shelves on a blank ŵall for your storage canisters and spices to clear the worktop a little. Perhaps also put the utensils in the top drawer. You could also buy a wooden board to go over the sink to give you more prep/cooling space and leave it propped up when not in use. Do you also have room for a butchers trolley anywhere?

I love the idea of the wooden board and I'm sure that clearing the utensils will clear up some space too. I don't think that I'd have enough floor space for a butchers trolley but do have wall space so perhaps I should consider making use of hanging or shelving units. If you have any suggestions for particular kitchen units, I would love to hear them!

Could you put small shelves or rack above the sink? Otherwise, I'd suggest keeping spices and utensils in a cupboard, possibly on the inside of the door.

Could you install pull out extra work tops above the white goods?

The small cupboard above the sink opens horizontally and is actually pretty inconvenient, so I'm sure that a rack would work well thinking about it. As for the spices, they need some serious decluttering! I'm considering another shelving unit on the opposite wall to hold everything currently on the worktop.

Unfortunately, there's no other space for a dining table but I have been looking at smaller expendable models as we hardly use our current one.

Extra pull out worktops would be ideal! I'm not sure if there is quite enough space above the white goods but I will have another scan of the kitchen. Hopefully they will work somewhere as the extra preparation area would be so useful.
