Hi, What a beautiful place! Makes me jealous! ^_^ What would you think about using a combination of 2 small ethnic side tables? One in wood to bring a warm touch and one metallic to compliment your tray and your metallic cushions? Attached are 2 from Maisons du Monde. And I think those would look gorgeous with this delicate floor lamp from Habitat... I agree with jwinnyc, it would be awkward to have them under the TV, but I think they would look perfect on the left side of your sofa. On the right side, what about 2 more baskets where you could put magazines, throws... ? The one you already have there is giving a lovely natural touch, but it feels a bit lonely. You could also add a medium sized plant..

That would depend entirely on the room really, you could have both if you have the space. Got any pics?

Went round huge Next home store today, tonnes of curtain fabric options in all colours except pistachio!!! Grrrr! Thank you again Man about House, I will persevere and I covet your curtains!!! Do you know how tall the armrests are? You want a table that's not much lower or taller. I think a round(ish) table suits well. I like Sonia's table and the whiskey barrel stool. But if you have the height of the armrests, we might be able to help you find some more options, if you like.
