the painting is going to be done before wallpaper. copper metallic paint is going to go in alcoves or whole walls. (apart from feature wall). Nothings been started yet. (In 3 weeks we're starting the decorating)

It depends on everything else in the room. Flooring, other walls etc. Deep blues are good for disuising TV's which is always a good thing.

It’s probably limewash. Practice on some other bricks before painting the most visible feature in your house, don’t forget limewash is corrosive so lots of safety goggles, gloves and dust sheets, with the window open…… and be prepared to apply 3 thin coats rather than one thick coat ….water it down significantly (3parts water to 1 part limewash).
