What’s a beverage fridge? Do you mean you have a fridge specifically for drinks? I have a booze fridge in the garage and just use the top of it to park things on. As long as you’re not blocking any ventilation you could have a worktop on it. You could always cut it back to a dead depth size.

Thank you so much for your response lifestyle kitchens :) Yes, I thought it needed support underneath and I did raise that issue with the kitchen company but they assured me that this is how it's done. I feel they just took the easy way out. What are the chances of this cracking? Do you think I should put my foot down and insist they redo it with the extra mdf support. I paid a fortune for this kitchen and I am so disappointed with the way they have handled matters. Thank you once again for your response. It is appreciated :)

You need a couple of base decor panels to be fitted to the 150 pull outs, that will be 18mm extra, then for the rest i'd get rid of the corner post and make my own corner solution so the 150 units can be moved closer to the oven. Unfortunately its poor design and your fitter has followed the design and as the designer has supplied fixed size corner posts you get left with gaps.
