Completely revamped kitchen

We completely revamped this kitchen space, knocking a wall down and opening up the space.

The kitchen island was turned around with the range staying in a similar place.

Amazing what space planning can do - this is always the first phase of a project and is essential for a fabulous outcome!

Alan, great advice above! I'll just add that removing a radiator is a relatively easy job for a plumber - you can even DIY it, just google for instructions. If you decide to keep it and add units under the stairs, then you could either get a mask for the radiator and some narrow shelving above, or get a slightly larger shelf on top of it and use it as an impromptu laptop desk or a breakfast bar (last pic). Or, if you have any significant change left, buy one of those new designer radiators - works great on the wow factor. In my opinion you would: Sort any dangerous electrics. Remove the former fridge cabinet and replace the fridge with a better sized one. Remove the wall cabinets on the cooker side of the room as they crowd the window. Buy an extra base cabinet for the left of the cooker and use the doors from the wall cabinets to make it good. Replace the wall tiles with something plain and the floor with a wood effect vinyl. Consider adding a chimney extractor over the cooker

There are lots of posts you can search about people who have successfully painted their doors and tiles. However, like you, my doors weren't in great shape. I used my limited budget to buy new white doors from a high street retailer and then painted all the trims/side panels using a good primer (Zinsser) and satin paint. Together with new vinyl sheet flooring it made my kitchen liveable for me. I agree with Sarah in that the kitchen isn't finished yet, i'd add to what Sarah said that the worktop edging isn't fitted, base decor is missing underneath, wall decor above hasn't been fitted properly (set to far back and doesn't underhang/overhang the same as the ones by the extractor), the 2 decors by the extractor look like they need cutting back so they're flush with the doors, the door hanging either side of the oven should be swapped round IMO, then plinth, mod pelmet and mod cornice as Sarah commented.
