Comments (34)I agree with everything that's been said. I am looking for exactly the same sort of finish for a bathroom retrofit - going for a wet room. I did find this fabulous range in 'Champagne Bronze' finish: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/collections/trinsic-bathroom-collection and- https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T17T459-CZH2O BUT the (Canadian, I think) company do not deal with UK at all. The Yemen is on the list of countries where they have dealers, but not GB! I did email Delta Faucet but they never replied. You do see this range sometimes on eBay and Amazon. They are a bit pricey though and shipping costs are high, also my plumber cannot figure out if the range is compatible with our pipes/electrics/technicalities etcetc So, wake up UK plumbing companies!...See MoreAdvice on colour highlights for white bathroom
Comments (5)Hi. I love your inspiration pictures and think the teal/ white/ wood colour scheme is a great idea. Personally I'd copy what they've done in those pictures. So.... I'd only tile half of the walls where you have your sink/ toilet and the wall with the radiator on it, and paint the wall above them in that beautiful teal colour As your cabinets are white, I'd introduce the wood part of the colour scheme in the flooring and by using the wooden accessories mentioned in your post For the grouting and taps....maybe if you used a pale-ish grey grout - the chrome taps would blend in with the white tiles a bit more and wouldn't stand out as being the main feature of the room? This would help the teal and wood accents stand out more. Good luck with whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll look lovely 😊...See Moretile trims! concrete grey??
Comments (3)I went down to cdt tile just now as they said I can bring it into the trade section. The one colour I thought it might work with - someone nicked the sample 🙄 but it will have to do as everything else was too dark or too light 🙈 I got some trims that don't quite match but going to see which is the least offensive. I wanted a brushed brass one for the sink but it's a 2 day special order so have to skip that 😬 I'm not sure on the tile but one side wil have a cut edge so presume it will need a trim?...See MoreHelp with colour for splashback
Comments (12)Thanks Sonia, I do like your suggestions of hexagonal tiles, but I can’t find a colour both my husband and I like. We even thought to just go safe with off white tiles, but I would like it to have a nice colour to break up the white and grey. Although I do worry that the teal colour is fairly cool, so might end up looking cold. Wumi, I’ve never considered gold grout, didn’t even know it existed. I can’t see any proper gold grout online though, it’s mostly glitter to add to a white grout. Also the teal tiles on the website look like they have very limited amount of grout if any, so not sure. https://www.porcelainsuperstore.co.uk/products/dwell-azul?variant=39435381506238...See More- 9 years ago
