Thanks minnie101. Yes I do like the renovation ☺️. Now I'm working on the decorations.. I do plan to add an AJ floor lamp. It would be great to pull out the sofa a little bit.. May be only a few inches is allowed ,..and place the floor lamp between the window n the sofa near the wall.. If it's too packed, the lamp can be on the left hand side right at the place where the door opens to.. I also plan to hang some pictures on the white wall above the sofa.. May be 2 or 3 pics like that in the sample pics 2, 3 & 4. But I'm very slow on this... hesitating on the styles of the pictures i should choose... May be some geometric black white grey pics with a hint of pink.. And some pics with quotes.. I hope to keep the place look simple and minimal.. A friend of mine said I don't need to add any pic if I want a minimalist design. As for the wall of the living room, there's an irregular clock. I tried to put more numbers scattered over the space but it felt too much and made the place look less spacious,... So finally I took some away and now only no. 1,4,8,9 left. What do u think? I will also add some greenery on the shelves and tables like small pots and plants, cactus, etc. Appreciate any comments & advice.

You could always choose a paper with a different coloured background but grey in the pattern? I would try and choose something with a random pattern as yours looks as if it's linear (?) which may make the room feel narrower as it will look taller similar to a stripe? Alternatively go for a textured wallpaper, love grasscloth effect, and then patterned blinds (I'd go for Roman), you may like something like josette from laura Ashley? If you're on a budget ( as i've had blinds from LA before and they weren't cheap, I have just discovered blinds 2 go. Yet to choose them but reviews are great and they seem ridiculously cheap). You could then just add a large vase of flowers on the table ( I go faux from oka!) and perhaps change the shade/s on the sideboard? Is there room for art on the sideboard ŵall?

Dwell ( and others ) do coffee tables that then raise to be dining tables.... team this with a couple of folding chairs that you can hang on hooks when they aren't in use - and you keep the space uncluttered... maybe worth a look ?!

Hello all, I am back in the game. was out of country for few days. After reading everyone's comment and considering I need to go with something different. Also, looking at budget, I have found something which I would like your opinion on Its basically a black wooden table with cream and black fabric chair? U have seen my kitchen in the pic above, please advise!!
