Thanks very much for the replies. I actually ended up going with the Boston handles from hafele. My centres (after remeasuring properly) were 416 and 454 and the Boston handles had a 416 and 448 option which is the closest i've been able to get - i think i might just have to bit the bullet and move one or both of the holes to make up the 6mm difference. One thing i was going to ask is that the ends are separate from the bar and if i wiggle the bar ends open by a few mm each side they obviously fit pretty well but then expose a bit of the black plastic (if that makes sense). What i was wondering is there such a thing as a packer or washer for handles such as these? Probably a silly question but though i would ask just in case! Thank you again

Everything is just personal preference. I agree that T bar handles are a nuisance insomuch that you can catch yourself. I’m not a knob lover but I have arthritis in my fingers and knobs are more difficult to grab as opposed to a handle. By co-incidence I was looking for black handles only this morning for a customer and while there are some it is limited. Look online at Hafele. You can’t buy direct from them but Toolstation stock some of their products or give Hafele a call and ask for a local trader. Regarding splashbacks look online at Premier Range for colourfull glass splashbacks. Really depends on how deep the handle recess is, this can vary depending on the door manufacturer so if its a vinyl foil wrapped door then the recess is very small and there's not a lot to grip on to for opening fridge and freezer doors, other doors like laminated birch ply doors can/may have a deeper rout for your fingers. Some Neff fridge freezers have an adjuster so you can make the doors easier to open. But for all these doors, if its only an 18mm thick door then you're still not going to have a lot of finger room which is why most J profile handleless doors are 22mm thick. Not heard of them wearing down, but then I don't think this style are particularly big sellers
